Every April the nation recognizes Healthcare Decisions Day to inspire, educate and empower individuals about the importance of advance care planning. It is an initiative to encourage patients to express their wishes regarding healthcare. Catawba Regional Hospice will conduct a workshop on Fri., April 27 at 11 a.m. – noon at South Iredell Senior Center in recognition of this day and as a means of educating and helping individuals put in place their Advance Healthcare Directives. Come get help to clearly state, through a series of Advance Healthcare Directive forms, your medical health care wishes. There will be FREE documents and notary services on site for those who attend. A light lunch will be included. To attend, RSVP with a $1 donation to South Iredell Senior Center by Mon., April 23. The Workshop is sponsored by Catawba Regional Hospice and presented by Stuart Madow, Director of Professional Relations.
