My theme for this event is "God can restore what is broken and change it into something amazing. All you need is faith." Joel 2:25
Who I am: I'm Heather Edmunds, Owner and Photographer for Moments by Heather Edmunds Photography. I've been in NC for 8 years and happily married to my husband and together we created two precious little boys.
The purpose of this project: To call attention to our African American community while still promoting unity. To build bridges and mend wounds via the use of my images taken during the session.
My hope: After the session is complete, the images and story I'll create using my work will create and magnify a positive transparency for our African American community as well as show a bond with our law enforcement. Together this will create a unique way to create a better future for ourselves and our children. My hope is for my work to go viral and spread creating positive outlooks through social media and other mediums and therefore bridging the gap we currently and always have had.
I currently have about 20 families so far as well as Mooresville Police, Fire, and EMT on board to participate. I would love to have you or your business participate as well!
