Ambassadors Program
- An opportunity for our area's retirees to plug into the

Annual Meeting Task Force - Assist in planning and hosting this annual celebration.

Business Expo Task Force - This event is held annually in the Fall at the Charles Mack
Citizen Center.  Assist in planning and hosting this fall trade show.  704.664.3898

Iredell Chamber Challenge Task Force - For the golf lover, the Mooresville
Chamber co-hosts this Spring event with the Greater Statesville Chamber.  704-664-3898

Commercial/Industrial Relations Committee - Visits with industrial/manufacturing
executives to help identify needs for the Chamber to address. 

Cultural Arts Consortium - To strengthen the arts and culture in Mooresville
by supporting the initative for an Iredell Arts Council.

Education/Workforce Development Committee - Works to facilitate
improvement in the educational programs and business relationships within the Mooresville-South Iredell community.  Chairperson: Brett Fansler - 704.663.1923 
Meets 2nd Friday 8:30 - 9:30 AM at the Holiday Inn Express-Mooresville
 
Environmental Committee - Focuses on safety and security issues and other
workforce needs with our manufacturing companies.

Junior Leadership - Works to develop and facilitate this annual program for

Leads Groups - Join one of our targeted sales network groups.  Categories

Leadership MSI/Leadership Alumni - Works to develop and facilitate this annual program.  Karen Shore - 704.664.3898

Legislative Committee - Identifies public issues for the Chamber to advocate
and communicate throughout the community.  704-664-3898

Marketing Task Force - Focuses on the means and methods of communications for the Chamber and how to best target our various audiences.  Chairperson: Kirk Ballard - 704.953.5620

Parks & Recreation Committee - Works with the Town of Mooresville
and Iredell County.  Chairperson: David Steen - 704.662.9004

Race City Festival Task Force - Assist in the planning and hosting of the downtown Mooresville  
celebration of arts and culture, which is held annually in May.  Denise Dumford- 704.664.3898

Small Business Council - Promotes resources for small business owners
working in conjunction with Mitchell Community College, Small Business Administration,
SBTDC and other organizations.  Chairperson: John Dodson - 704.658.1950

Transportation Committee - Works as an advocate for traffic and transportation improvements for the Mooresville-South Iredell area. Meets the 1st Thursday of each month at the MSI Chamber office.  Chairperson: Bryant W. Hicks

The Professional Women's Network - Professional Women's Network is a women-only "Chamber Solutions Group" that is a forum for members to network in a professional, yet informal atmosphere.  Discussions include business solutions, as well as personal growth topics. Meetings are held the 1st Thursday of each month over breakfast 7:30-9am at The Hampton Inn & Suites, Mooresville.  Cost for breakfast $5 for chamber members and $15 for non-Chamber members.  RSVP's required by calling 704-664-3898 or email info@mooresvillenc.org  Committee Chairs: Maria Thomas and Deb Savage

The Leading Edge Healthcare Leads Group is focused on networking within the healthcare industry in Southern
IredellCounty (but membership in the group is not exclusive to the healthcare industry). MSI Business Professionals Group- Meetings are held every other Wednesday 8-9am, at Liberty Mutual Insurance Office, 149 Plantation Drive, Suite 170, Mooresville.  Focus of the group is to  create a network of business professionals, to support each other in promoting their business and professional development in various ways, not only among the membership, but also through outside sources.
