MSI Leadership
The purpose of the MSI Leadership Program is to familiarize upcoming leaders on the various aspects of the community. Classes begin in September and continue through April. As part of the training, the class selects a community project to be completed by the class end. Topics that are covered include economic development, government, education, healthcare and more. If you are interested in becoming a member of an upcoming MSI Leadership class, please call the Chamber.

Small Business Counseling
The Mooresville-South Iredell Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business Administration have partnered together and are taking appointments for "SBA DAYS" at the MSI Chamber Office the first Thursday of each month.  If you are a small business owner or prospective buyer and want to know what type of financing is available, what SBA Programs are best for you, how to apply for the loan. and what other government programs may be out there?  Call and make a one hour appointment at no charge to you.  Eileen Joyce from SBA will be on hand and meet one on one to answer your questions.  She has been with SBA for over 16 years, serving in various capacities and served as the Small Business Manager for five years working with small business owners on business plans and marketing research.  Please call Debbie at the chamber office to make your appointment 704-664-3898.  

NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES

Business Before  Hours - Held the 2nd Wednesday of each month at a hosting company location.  8-9:30am.  Guests and prospective members are always welcome.

Business After Hours - Held from 5-7pm one night a month at the "hosts" choice of date and  location.  Guests and prospective members are always welcome.

Ribbon Cuttings -  Please check the events calendar for dates, times and locations.  Everyone is always welcome!!  Refreshments are served.

Annual Iredell Golf Challenge
For golf lovers, we always have several golf outings each year, and there are joint outings with the Statesville and Lake Norman Chambers. These are great networking opportunities with hole sponsorships and giveaway prizes.

Annual Dinner & Awards Luncheon
Banquet dinner hosted by the outgoing president and incoming president. They present a summary of the accomplishments of the past year and an outlook of what lies ahead on the Program of Work for the new year. This is the time we recognize our community's business person and citizen of the year.

Active Committees
The Chamber has over 20 active committees, and we are always looking for more community-minded volunteers to join us.

Race City Festival
The Festival is held in May and promotes our entire community. Members have an opportunity to make themselves visible by taking part in numerous ways. You can have a booth, help with planning, you can be a worker, advertise through sponsorship or donate a prize for our raffle.
